Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Listening to “The Great Gatsby” soundtracks and got inspired by the twenties styles. Sia , Florence, Lana and the XX did an outstanding job with their songs.
Muma Padurii, is the protector of the forest and usually she is very grumpy. If she finds a human that threatens the well being of her forest , she’ll transform him in a flower and feed him to the deers.
This is a new experiment. I am trying to get a more graphic way to color my characters.
Spring is coming…actually here is freakin summer already.
My friend Lia , has this beautiful photo of her near a magnolia bush? tree? and I decided I shall make a painting after it.

Once again , today’s speedy before heading to Brasov, w00t!
One weekend in the wilderness of the mountain , I’ve prepared already my A4 sketchbook, I hope I’ll draw some nature ;)

A speed painting of an interieur. I have to do these more often, because they are out of my confort zone and I feel like I’m learning much more when I do something new, kind of.
Back to fighting laziness !
Today’s warm up ! 40 minutes , with reference , but this is more like an interpretation rather than a copy.
Now back to work.
P.S. I think I found a whole new way to inspire myself. I hope it will last.
Yet another one hour daily painting…
Fighting laziness is one hellava mission, some say it’s mission impossible , but I beg to differ, it’s almost impossible !
One of the daily paintings I do..everyday obviously :D .
Doing these speed paintings I want to understand better the color, the lightning, values , photoshop brushes and shapes and structures.
Now back to work…..wooooooosshhhh!
